New Hair Do

Well it's been soo long since I've blogged, have been rather lazy on that score. But that dosen't mean that I havent been stamping because I 've been stamping like a crazy girl. But this for now is for Sharlene. I promise that I will take some photos of my new cards and get blogging. Not a great photo (took it myself) (lol), but it's brown with red streaks.

Repertory

Hi all it's been sooo long since I've blogged but, I have had some good excuses. We are nearly at the end of calving with only 18 cows to go. It's been a good spring. Also I had been doing Wardrobe for Hawera Repertory's The Gingerbread Lady which finnished last weekend, so with the early mornings and late nights I haven't had any time to blog let alone stamp. But wait there's more here are two cards that I did manage to get done for the cast and Director of the show. I was asked to make a card for Donald and this is what I came up with.
I did a gate fold card.
Stamps: For Father
Cardstock: Chocolate chip, Tangerine Tango, Red Riding Hood
Ink: Saraha Sand
Accessories: Versamark, clear embossing powder, tangerine tango ribbon
The other card was one that I did for the guys in the cast.

Friendship - K Werner Challenge No.50

Well I haven't been doing the Kristina Werner challenge that long but for it to hit 50 is a milestone. There are so many great cardmakers around the world and you can see a selection of these from the people who enter cards in the challenges. Thank you Kristina for allowing us to take up the challenge, and giving us colours to think about.

I have been waiting patiently for the next challenge and today after work their it was and I thought the colours are great and I made a card looks great but I thought to myself I wanna try something different, so I started again and this is what I came up with.

Cardstock: Summer sun, Chocolate chip(my favourite colour), Riding Rood Red,

Inks: Chocolate chip, Tempting Turquoise

Stamps: Friendship Blooms

Accessories: Bali Breeze designer paper(tempting turquoise), brown ribbon, chipboard flower cutout

Glittering Butterfly - K Werner Challenge - 46

I was waiting by the computer this afternoon to see if the next Kristina Werner challenge-46 had been posted and it had been. The challenge has become a ritual for me and keeps me stamping in between working, being a mum, and doing all the other stuff us mums do everyday.

This weeks challenge had me stumped for a while as I had the base of my card complete and then I did'nt know what to put on it next but inspiration came to me and away I went again.

Stamps: Garden Whimsy, Well-Worn Words
Inks: Regal Rose, Rose Red
